The Council for Opportunity in Education (COE) is the national organization dedicated to furthering the expansion of postsecondary opportunities for low-income and first-generation students. COE supports the work of approximately 3,000 TRIO programs and professionals in many ways, including:
- Advocacy on Capitol Hill
- Educational resources
- Pell Institute – the first research institute to specifically address issues influencing educational opportunities that impact low-income, first-generation and disabled college students.
- Stokes Institute for Opportunity in STEM Education – whose purpose is to expand college access and improve college retention for low-income, first-generation and minority students.
- Communications on advocacy issues, policy and regulations
- Training opportunities
Your personal contribution supports all of these activities. Please give generously.
